How vetting works, step by step
Every TampArotic night is members-only, and joining is free. Vetting is quick and private, and it’s about fit, not looks. Couples and single women who pass our quick checks go straight to their ticket; a host personally reviews single men. New to the lifestyle? You’re welcome. 21+.
If “vetting” sounds daunting, think of it as a private introduction. One application keeps your membership and event plans together, and Social membership is $0 with no subscription or renewal. Approved and conditionally approved guests can buy straight away; applications a host reviews wait for their decision. You can ask us about anything you’re unsure of.
- STEP 01Pick your night and your membershipEvery TampArotic night is members-only. Choose an event and ticket, then pick Social, Supporting or Legacy membership. Social membership is $0: no subscription, no renewal. You can also join without choosing an event.
- STEP 02Tell us who's comingShare names, contact details and a private photo. It takes a few minutes, and everything you share stays with our hosts. TampArotic events are for adults 21 and older: confirm your age and the house rules in the application, and bring a valid physical photo ID for the door check. An application checkbox does not replace showing your ID.
- STEP 03ApprovalCouples and single women who pass our quick checks are conditionally approved on the spot and go straight to their ticket. Single men are reviewed personally by a host, and nothing is charged while you wait. Any application may get a closer look from a host, who may ask for more information. You're welcome to ask questions about the process too.
- STEP 04Get your ticketOnce you're approved or conditionally approved, buy your ticket at your member price. If a host reviews your application, we email you the decision and, if approved, a link to buy. Approval doesn't hold a ticket, so check your night's availability and entry requirements.
- STEP 05Plan your nightCheck your event page and confirmation for arrival details. Priced tickets must be paid in advance. If you'd like help settling in, ask the team about a host welcome.
Coming with a member's guest pass? Include their reference in your application. A vouch gives our hosts context; it does not replace approval. You must still be 21+, meet the event's rules, and complete its entry checks. Confirm the guest-pass arrangements with the team before you go.

Why do lifestyle events vet guests at all?
Knowing who's in the room is how organizers keep the atmosphere relaxed, respectful and a little electric. At TampArotic every night is members-only, and we vet for fit, not looks: this isn't an "are you hot enough?" test. We don't admit people who bring negativity, or who've been flagged by us or by the other lifestyle groups we stay in touch with. You don't need lifestyle experience; being thoughtful about the house rules is a good place to start.
What might we be asked?
Commonly: confirmation that you're 21+, whether you're a couple or single, how you found us, a social handle, and occasionally references. Some organizers keep it to a short chat instead. Exact requirements differ by event, so follow the specific application's instructions.
How long does it take?
The application takes a few minutes. Couples and single women who pass our quick checks are conditionally approved on the spot. Host review timing varies, and we may need more information before a decision; we email you when you can buy. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or hold a ticket.
Is our information kept private?
Yes. Reputable organizers treat vetting details as confidential and use them only to approve you and share logistics — discretion runs both ways in this community.
